The King Mountain Package training program is the best approach to learning how to launch, fly, and safely land a hang glider at King Mountain, Idaho. This package develops skills necessary for students to successfully complete USHPA (United States Hang Gliding Paragliding Association) Beginner and Novice Foot Launch ratings*. More importantly, you gain the required background for safe and fun flying while you enjoy your first high altitude mountain flight! This package is unlike most other schools because it "IS NOT" just bunny hill training. Another advantage to this package, and there are several, is you have the option to progress at your own pace. No limit on the number of leassons. Very few schools offer this, that's right unlimited lessons for your Hang 2 rating. You will learn how to launch safely and correctly while perfecting your turns and landing techniques. The King Mountain Package includes: a. All equipment required during the entire training program. b. Comprehensive USHPA Hang Gliding and ParaglidingTraining Manual (29.95 value). c. USHGA Official Flight Log (3.50 value) d. Nine ground schools; introduction, hang gliding equipment, ground handling, basic aerodynamics, turns and control, local pilot training, weather, principles of flight, high altitude flying, ridge and thermal soaring, hang gliding history. e.
